Confectioner De Maro has been awarded the most prestigious certification in the food industry: BRC AA+ recognition. We try our best to strengthen this position even more by always working hard to receive extra certificates. That is how we strive for the highest possible level in product quality and food safety.

    De Maro was one of the first confectionaries in the Netherlands to have been awarded the prestigious BRC 7.0 AA+ certificate. This is the highest grade that the British Global Standard for Food Safety.

    In October 2015, De Maro received the IFS Higher Level certification version 6. With criteria concerning HACCP, quality management, GMP, customer focus and interior requirements of the bakery.

    The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) tries to put the palm oil industry on a sustainable path. All products with palm oil ingredients have been certified according to the Fairtrade mass balance principal.
